Youth Mentoring

"Talk Is Cheap!" Yes, that is extremely true and also why we often over look the importance of taking time to do just that, TALK!!! "T3" (Time Two Talk), yes one on one conversation. Leaving titles and distractions behind for brief moments can be the difference between a young person lashing out from being unheard and you getting to see them reach their greatest potential. Over time there are walls that build up which prevent the ability to talk and as such require you to enlist the help of a professional to tear them down. A mentor is a great start to opening dialog with a youth that has walled themselves off from you. Mentors also serve to continue to foster those missing relationships in a young persons life.
